In order to give an oral presentation, authors are required to submit an abstract via iufro.sopron@gmail.com email address in .pdf, .doc, .docx or .odt format. Please indicate in the subject line 'IUFRO Sopron 2014'. An abstract should be a single paragraph not exceeding 160 words altogether. Acceptance will be based on the abstract's relevance to the topics of the symposium.

Full papers can be submitted after the notification of acceptance of the relevant abstract, but no later than the the deadline. Full papers have to comply with the requirements in the Guide for Authors

Symposium Proceedings will be available as a part of the symposium package. The Scientific Committee will select papers to be published in a special issue of Acta Silvatica et Lignaria Hungarica (ASLH) indexed in CAB, ELFIS, Scopus, EBSCO. Papers can also be considered for submission to Small-scale Forestry the journal of the IUFRO 3.08 Small-scale Forestry group published by Springer.

There will be no poster section in the Symposium.
